Professionally, Chris has served his community for over 20 years. For the last 7 years, Glassburn has been running his small business and been the Councilman for Ward 2 in North Olmsted. He previously served on the North Olmsted School Board. Chris is a member of the League of Women Voters and in his spare time volunteers with the Maple Elementary PTA Produce Market distributing food to those in need.
Chris is a lifelong Northeast Ohioan. Born in Painesville, Chris grew up and graduate high school in North Olmsted. He has a bachelor's degree in History from Baldwin Wallace College.
Since 2016, Glassburn has been the owner and president of a successful small business in North Olmsted, providing professional services to local businesses, non-profits, and governments.
Glassburn has been active in working for his community. He was named the 2020 Civilian Of The Year by the Western Cuyahoga FOP for his work with the Makers for Medics campaign producing over 10,000 face shields for healthcare and first responders.

• Lowered city property taxes twice for a total of 1.2 mills to help residents afford school levies.
• Doubled the city's road repair programs by securing numerous county, state, and federal grants.
• New city park features such as walking paths, bathrooms and baby changing stations.
• Small business grants to help local companies survive the pandemic.
• Creating North Olmsted's programs for helping seniors and low income families with home repairs.

• Chris supports the Fair School Funding plan to ensure our kids get a quality education. Columbus needs to pay its fair share and stop putting school funding on the backs of property tax payers.
• As a city Councilman, Glassburn has passed practical, bipartisan legislation on dozens of issues to make everyday life better for his residents. As a state legislator, he will continue to work with his colleagues to deliver better results for our community.
• Glassburn supports common sense gun reform, such as red flag laws and keep firearms away from our kids.
• Chris has been a champion against gerrymandering, fighting for fair districts and ensuring our voice is heard in Columbus and Washington.
• He will defend our rights and protect our democracy. Chris will oppose the attacks on women, minorities, workers, and our LGBTQ+ community.
